Below is an extract of the e-mail you receive when you have been allocated a team within our league.
This is a fully comprehensive guide, which gives you information on how the league works.
WELCOME TO FIFA 442
Thank you for showing an interest in our league, you have been allocated {YOUR TEAM}
YOUR SQUAD
Now you have been allocated a team, the first thing you should do is visit your teams homepage, this can be accessed by clicking here and selecting your clubs crest.
SQUAD SIZE
When the season starts (TBC) you should have a minimum squad of 20 players, this includes two goalkeepers.
ASSESSING YOUR SQUAD
Once you have been allocated a team it is now time to assess your first team squad. All squads are up to date as possible and contain the latest transfers, however all real life loanees have gone back to their parent clubs.
Once you have assessed your squad you may want to consider the following:
TRANSFER LISTING & RELEASING PLAYERS
If you wish to add players to the transfer market this can be done by clicking here you can either state whether you are Transfer Listing or releasing them, if you are releasing them to the unattached list you will receive 70% of their actual value, for example releasing a player for £3m you would receive a fee of £2.1m. The player then would be added to the unattached list for their normal value. If you are releasing players you should leave the value box empty.
CLUB TO CLUB TRANSFERS – TRANSFER WINDOW CURRENTLY OPEN
Naturally you will be in constant communication with other league managers regarding the availability of their players. If you and another manager both agree on a deal for a player both managers must submit the exact same information on the form here only when the exact information has been submitted will the deal go through, any irregularities in the deal will see the deal breakdown.
The fee for each player must be higher than the players actual value, this is to cut out selling at “mates rates”
Loan, swap and player plus cash deals are all prohibited in the FIFA442 Leagues.
BIDDING FOR UNATTACHED PLAYERS – TRANSFER WINDOW CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR UNATTACHED PLAYERS
WINDOW CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR UNATTACHED PLAYERS
You have five bids per team daily for the duration of the Transfer window. Please ensure that all bids have been thoroughly considered beforehand as bids submitted cannot be withdrawn.
For all unattached players, you must bid higher than the stated value on the unattached list. Please remember that other teams within the league will be bidding so competition will be hot, so make your bid worthwhile.
Bids lower than the actual value of the listed player will not be considered.
A daily timeframe will be in operation where you have a certain amount of time to bid on an unattached player (times to be confirmed).

FIXTURES
Fixtures will appear here you can play the games in any order for example you can play week 3 then 5 then 2. However you can only play the games that are listed on the forum, obviously these games can’t be played until the season is officially open. The home team always hosts the game.

SUBMISSION OF RESULTS
You must submit your result in the relevant fixture forum, an example of how to submit your result can be viewed
here
SQUAD ERRORS
If you have noticed players missing or irregular information about your squad, please let us know on the forum by clicking here . Obviously due to the size of the database, mistakes will occur. Remember players have to be on FIFA12 to be a part of your team.
Also please remember LOANEES have all gone back to their parent clubs
